Top technology firm Microsoft, which straddles desktops, devices and search and software, doesn't see India's booming telecom market as a potential entry opportunity to further grow business and revenues. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer told ET that India's telecom growth story is of very low-cost phones, limiting the ability of its software, which runs on smart phones, to compete. In an exclusive interview, he said the PCs are still the most converged device on the planet. Excerpts:
