Role of FNTO ,NFTE to transfer DGM

Comrades of SNEA(I) of Amravati exhibited exemplary unity and solidarity to defeat the sinister designs of DGM/Amravati who by virtue of wielding enormous and consistent political clout managed to stay at Amravati for seven long years as DGM despite his transfer orders being issued three years before to WTR. As a result of his long stay the said DGM developed vested interests of every kind and let loose a reign of terror in Amravati. During the period of seven years, nearly four GMs were posted at Amravati but all of them were unable to rein in the said DGM because of his unscrupulous political and other contacts.

Finally, when the oppression let loose by the said DGM reached its peak, Comrades of SNEA(I) Amravati decided to take on the said DGM to check his unwarranted actions, and, after a prolonged struggle, despite ruthless and indiscriminate victimization of all the SSA office bearers of SNEA(I), succeeded in getting his transfer orders implemented which he was defying due to persistent political pressures. It was a real, spirited and tough fight. No words to congratulate the commitment and courage of extraordinary and unique class of Comrades of Amravati in dislodging an officer who had developed strong vested interests and consistently challenged and defied the authority of top BSNL Management. Comrades of NFTE and FNTO at Amravati also joined SNEA(I) Comrades in their final assault to secure justice for all telecom employees of Amravati because of extreme form of oppression let loose by the said officer. We congratulate them also for extending their solid support to the struggle.

We congratulate Com Adsul, CS/Maharashtra, for his consistent, tireless and outstanding support to Comrades of Amravati and his superb leadership that finally yielded the desired results. We are also extremely thankful to Respected Director(HRD)/BSNL and GM(P) for their effective and positive intervention. 

Our comments: These are from SNEA site. When non executives are tossed here and there, we fight for our rights. FNTO  is repeatedly saying that transfers should be on need basis, where there is shortage and also requests.  Don't transfer anybody for sake of transfer.BSNL is incurring crores and crores in going for transfers.  FNTO insists when the company is running at loss,  mass transfers should not  be effected. 

In transfering an officer, all three unions have united. Let unity prevails.
