Personal allowance
Q. BSNL Order F No. 260-5/05 Per III dated 30 – 8 – 2010 on settlement of aberration by granting personal allowance - Please comment.
A. This order is a sample on how the management treats its own non-executive employees. It also indicates how weak is the staff side particularly the representative union. The agreement reached on anomaly settlement on 1st wage revision itself is worse. Orders now issued on it are far worst that even the agreed points were not adhered to. Further the management has devised a new term called “Personal allowance” replacing personal pay. Kudos to establishment / establishment finance / SR incharge?
