Some of the basic questions regarding strike.
JAC is to stop from perishing of BSNL.Okay. Why not JAC in all SSAs for improving the image of BSNL right from the word getting temporary advances,improving service quality, okaying of transfers from one place to place,attending cable faults, misuse of vehicles, controlling of expenses etc.
Why the issue of non grant of bonus is not included in the agenda?
Why JAC has not taken long study of issues , taken to various places about impending strike for three days?
Why state level, SSA level and national level meetings to say about the strike?
Is it proper to increase the percentage level of strike by not making staff those who wish to attend by locking the gates?
Local leaders have to incur the insults of our own members to show strike percentage.
In some places, strike percentage is higher but in some places it is lower. Whether any analysis is going to be done by National JAC in this issue.
Cuddalore records highest percentage whereas neighbouring Puducherry records lower percentage.
If it is to save BSNL, why all members want to attend office. ?
Regarding sanctioning of leave, BSNL issues orders. Whether it is followed?
In earlier strikes, no salary cut is enforced. Now no work no pay is followed. So many members want to stay away from the strike. What is the solution?
Even local leaders have to say that by foregoing increment one day or two days, only Rs. 40 or 60 will be lost. But many members want to attend office say that Dec. 1 is their increment date. Why no sacrifice of Rs. 40 to 60 by our own staff knowing well about BSNL.
Whether JAC has analysed the reasons for many members not taking part in the strike?
Whether any union is in a position to take action against their own office bearers for not taking part in the strike leave alone members of that union.
In future strikes will be successful only if all members of SSAs JAC,Circle level JACs, National level JACs join together and fight issues jointly.
When non executives want to fight for BSNL survival by galvanising all members but that is not the same for signing of agreements . The same question is raised by all members stating that you want to strengthen your position by means of JAC but want to sign agreements leaving other non executive unions. This is the common wish of every member.
If JAC is in a position to solve problems in local SSAs, in future there will be 100% participation in any call given by JAC.
