The above orders of BSNL on built and lease is a retrogatory step. Going by the experience it will only help other operators. BSNL will steadfastly built the towers adhering to specifications and hand it over to other operators. The lease rent will be abysmally low. Even this can not be got collected from the other operators and one fine morning even this meagre sum will be waived. BSNL has already burnt its fingers in the USO project. Other operators refuse to pay the billed amount attracting Audit objections. Now another white elephant has been rolled by BSNL. For this the SSA head is to be given an incentive of Rs.25000/- and the CGM is to be given an incentive of Rs.51000/-. Why such bizarre decisions? For whose benefit? I can only recall Mr. Sherlock Holmes say" Elementary my dear Watson"=VVS

In continuation I can say that the other operators will have better reach using our infrastructure and they will grow at our expense. The unions should oppose such decisions.
