Over a dozen officials, including three from the Department of telecommunication (DOT) are on the Directorate of Enforcement's (ED) interrogation list.

The officials would be questioned in connection with their alleged role in the multi-crore telecom scam for which Union Telecom Minister A Raja had to resign on Sunday night.

The questioning comes soon after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) closed in on two officials involved in CWG financial wrangling last month.

The names of the three DoT officials were withheld during initial investigation.

Four private 'fixers' and four other stock brokers have also been named in the scam after funds worth over Rs1,000 crore were siphoned off to overseas recipients.

ED officials claim that the telecom pay-offs were facilitated through middlemen.
