KOLKATA: Trai is optimistic that mobile number portability will be rolled out in September 2010. Sarma said that Trai would assess the readiness of telecom operators about the portability.
"The MNP was deferred because lack of preparedness on part of BSNL. Now, we are doing a study on what kind of an action can be taken if some operators is lagging behind on portability," he added.
