either vrs or retirment age should be implemented as 70% to 80% of workers of BSNL donot work. Balance 30% to 20% of group A & B staff are just enjoying the new IDA pay-scale wef. 01/01/2007 without any hassle whereas they only work for the private operator and enjoying the perks and incentives by the BSNL as well as by the private operators. Financial implications are there which results for non-payment of bonus for the year 2009-10 which deprives the lower staff of their bonus. Only VRS and Retirment will be sufficient for the staff of BSNL as they are just enjoying without any collective work whereas private operators are earning lot.
