Launch-3G-services-only-if-they-can-be-monitored-Home-Ministry

Our comments: Telecom operators have to launch 3 g services only  if they can be monitored by Home Ministry?

Our questions:

Why do the government permit the operators to go for auction of 3 G spectrum when it is not in a position to monitor the 3 g Services?

What the security agencies were doing before commencement of 3 G auction?

If our security agencies are not able to decipher 3 g services code, are they going to stop 3 g Services in India?

If they want to stop 3 G services unless security agencies clear it, will the govt.  give back  money got through 3 G auction?

Only BSNL and MTNL are providing 3 G services  based on pre set conditions.  By asking BSNL and MTNL not to provide 3 g service, is it one way to favour private operators.  If there is no security clearance, BSNL and MTNL cannot provide 3 g Services. Till such time, BSNL and MTNL will have to wait after paying huge money as specturm charges.  After 3 or 4 months period, private operators will be given permission to start 3 g services.  Because of high marketing techniques, they will have a great say in 3 G market.  BSNL and MTNL will limp slowly.

The Home Ministry's directions  seems clearly that the govt. is favouring private operators by forcing BSNL and MTNL to stop providing 3 g Services?  This question has to be cleared by the govt.
