Raja-trying-to-derail-the-growth-of-BSNL-Officials-ITS Association protests.

The ITS Association feels that such motivated actions are ill-conceived and totally uncalled for and will prove counter-productive to the larger interests of BSNL. "Our members are highly disturbed and agitated on the issue of injustice and unnecessary harassment being meted out to them without any rationale," the letter says. ITS officers allege that Raja is deliberately delaying the process of procurement through the low cost, managed capacity model to force BSNL to place add-on orders on his favourite vendors. They have demanded the immediate withdrawal of all the transfer orders issued.

  1. It is a crude joke that these ITS officers who refuse till day to come into BSNL and who are doing all out efforts to ruin the company and indirectly helping the competitors to swallow the subscriber base of BSNL, are now accusing the minister. They want all subordinates to be transferred but they object when the same is implemented for them.

  2. It will be better if the news item would have been posted with comments. I am still wondering what these ITS officers have left behind for the minister to spoil? Their utmost aim is to create aversion among the BSNL customers and drive them to private operators. They loot money by giving large scale advertisements in papers about new programs and schemes and services but very carefully plan that these will never be satisfactory to the subscriber. They will install mobile tower after tower to show the ministry that so many towers have been installed to expand the service but will tactfully select places for installation of these towers where it will not serve the public. For instance ask any subscriber in Chennai whether they get signals in their houses. For using mobile or the much hyped EVDO in Chennai you have to come to the roads. Who is reponsible for all these? Is it the Minister planning all these?
The program of the ITS officers is to thwart our demand for their absorption in BSNL. They are not Buddhas to preach discipline in public life. These selfish cadre who equip themselves with all latest technologies at the cost of BSNL till their last day of service (even undergoing training in foreign countries) shamelessly switch over to private operators even the very next day of their retirement.
