BSNLEU is going to win.
It is a forgone conclusion that BSNLEU will comfortably win the 6th Membership Verification with more than 50% votes.
It
is ridiculous to note that a Union which is not even
having 50, 000 paid members, is shouting from roof top
that it would win the 6th Verification with
more than 50% votes. Every thing would become clear once
when the ballot boxes are opened on 18-04-2013. It is now
a foregone conclusion that BSNLEU will win the forthcoming
Verification with more than 50% votes. This claim is borne
out of the fact that BSNLEU itself is having a solid paid
membership of 1,14,534. This is based on records and no
one can deny that. The total voters in the 6th
Verification is 2,04,796. So, BSNLEU is having more than
50% of the voters as it's paid members. Hence, BSNLEU once
again emerge as the sole recognised union of BSNL in the 6th
Verification. The following are the circle wise figures of
total number of employees and the paid members of BSNLEU.<<click

prejudice contempt proceedings already initiated by the
Hon Delhi High Court.

It is learnt that the Management Committee has approved the Child Care Leave, in its meeting, held yesterday the 07.03.2013.
It has been the long pending demand of the JAC/Forum, that the Child Care Leave, implemented for the Central Govt. employees, should be implemented in BSNL also. Finally, agreement was signed on 12.06.2012, for settlement of Child Care Leave.
However, it’s implementation had been delayed. Now, we are glad that the Management has decided to implement it. Again, this is a big achievement of the united struggle.
Roaming by airtel
Bharti Airtel Outshines All Other Telecom Companies of India
Bharti airtel ...
,once again outshined all other telecom giants of the country by unveiling free roaming services for its Delhi based customers. However, Minister of Telecom and Information Technology had earlier promised that the government is looking forward to initiate a free roaming plan for the whole country by March 2013. But they failed to meet their commitment and delayed the plan for October this year.Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel couldn't upset their customers and took a stand forward to delight their users in Delhi. Only BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has a plan which is similar to the latest one. They owns a 'One India Plan' which avails their users to use their services by paying only Rs 1 for each incoming or outgoing call. But Airtel has moved a step ahead by providing a Rs. 21 tariff to avail free roaming services. After recharging with the tariff, the users will not have to pay any charges while being in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand.
The customers will be able to use the facility of receiving free incoming calls in above mentioned five states after recharging their number with a Rs. 21 tariff. Till now, the company has been charging Rs. 1 each for incoming and outgoing calls while for STD calls they charge Rs. 1.5 when the user is in roaming.
"With this pack, Airtel prepaid mobile subscribers can now get up to 30 days of free incoming calls while travelling to Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand and West Bengal (except Kolkata) by paying a tariff of Rs 21," Bharti Airtel said in a statement.
However, the government had earlier promised to remove roaming charges across the country by March 2013. But they failed to do so and the plan was postponed for October. Airtel has given a huge relief to the Airtel users who dwell on the border areas of Delhi.
According to a study on income of telecom companies, with the implementation of free roaming scheme, the telecom companies are going to bear a huge loss as about 10 per cent of their total income comes from roaming charges.
Once again, Airtel has initiated the revolution in the telecom market by availing such facility to its Delhi based users.
